Springtime is here and event season is kicking off. This month we are going to be buzzing all over Fort Collins with events. Check us out to browse our new designs, grab some unique gifts for mom and dad, and mix and mingle with other artists.
Akinz has participated in the Fort Collins First Friday Gallery Walk since opening our Old Town store almost 6 years ago! This month, come out to see the sea-worthy illustrations of Andrew Yount. He is a staple in the bike community, and his illustrations are vivid displays of adventure.
Check out some original illustrations and get a t-shirt printed with a limited edition design from Andy.
Choose from either of the above drawings and bring your own t-shirt for $10 or pick from our shirts for $20.
Enjoy libations, snacks, and unique artwork. Pick your own shirt and watch it get screen printed on site.
Akinz will be at the first annual Mom & Pop Market hosted by Wolverine Farm LETTERPRESS & PUBLICK HOUSE, A nonprofit event space, letterpress print shop, and bar/cafe in the River District of Fort Collins, CO.
There will be over 20 makers at the Mom & Pop Market. They will have mimosas, promotional giveaways and the first 40 customers at 10 am get a free handmade gift from a local maker.
The celebration of parents is coming soon with Mother’s day in May and Father’s day in June. The market supports local makers and encourages buying handmade gifts for all the moms and pops.
We will be featuring our hand printed t-shirts, hats, & accessories.
Akinz is a local sponsor for The Ciclismo Youth Foundation Short Track Races held every Tuesday night at New Belgium. We will have a booth with swag and be rooting for the riders. Ciclismo is a local 501 (c) (3) foundation focused on getting kids on bikes in Fort Collins.
The short track races are a family affair with food trucks, vendors, and a beer garden.
Categories for ALL ages and abilities. All kids 0 to 18 years of age race for FREE! Adults are only $15! Kids and juniors use discount code: st18 at checkout.
